Now you can play your Django-guitar with the right pickup! I modelled it to the original Stimer S.51- pickup of the fifties. So the original magnet has been measured out , also the single coil is manufactered close to the original as well as form and material of the housing to reproduce an utmost authentic sound.

Because the casing of Stimer is with 10 mm rather high and a touching of the strings at certain guitars is possible, the Miller- pickup has a very thin casing. The bottom is not pressed in, but fixed with four screws to the casing. This allows perfect assembling and - if necessary - better access for repairs. There are two systems available to attach the pickup on the soundboard, a) with the supplied transducer adhesive and b) with spring clamps suitable only for original Selmer sized o-hole. Endlich kannst Du Deine Django- Gitarre mit dem richtigen Tonabnehmer spielen! Er wurde nach einem Stimer S.51 nachgebaut. So wurde der original Magnet ausgemessen, die Spule in der gleichen Art gewickelt, ebenso das Gehäuse in Form und Abmessungen original nachgebaut, um einen möglichst authentischen Klang zu erzielen.

Da beim Stimer das Gehäuse mit 10 mm relativ hoch ist und dadurch bei gewissen Djangogitarren ein Berühren der Saiten möglich ist, wurde beim Miller- Pickup ein sehr flaches Gehäuse konstruiert. Der Boden wird nicht mehr eingepresst, sondern mit vier Schrauben mit dem Gehäuse verschraubt. Dies erlaubt eine saubere Montage und - sollte dies einmal der Fall sein - ein einfacher Zugang für Reparaturen. Zwei Befestigungsarten sind lieferbar, a) mit dem mitgelieferten Transducer Adhesive und b) mit Federhalterung, passend nur für original Selmer O-Loch Ausführung. Ein sehr schöner Lautstärkeregler ist ebenfalls erhältlich, kleiner und nicht so schwer wie bei Stimer. Gehäusefinish in Messing und Chrom lieferbar. Alle Modelle findest Du in der Galerie.
